Did you see the new Beastman LH (aaglo) and the new Ork (Grandraem`s Grimgror, best LH ever

Had a major logistics problem though.I had the advance that give you free skeleton warriors every four turns in every city but I was playing on the island map and getting all of my skeletons to another island was a nightmare!!! I think the tomb ship only carries 4 and I had over 150 of the warriors!

I just played the Mediterranian game, as Lahmia, against Khemri, Araby, Tilea, Estalia and Ulthuan (don`t ask
)... all I can say is: Blood Dragons Kick Ass! They are my fav unit in the game Like two of them can cut down a stack of 7 units (including ogres!) in one turn, 8 if I was lucky and got that one more zombie! Wooohoo!

Speaking of units:
Blood Dragons: 12-8-2, +2HP, Blitz, Detects invisible, enslaves zombies, requires iron, cost 160 shields
Ogre Irongut: 12-6-1, +1HP, requires Ogres, cost 110 shields
Those blood dragon stats are way-way-way too powerful compared to the shield cost.
I say, that it should cost atleast twice the Ogre irongut for these reasons:
- Blitz is very, very, very powerful, especially with that +2HP bonus
- Ogres require rare resource, while blood dragons require iron (like most of the units in game)
- movement of 2 in that kind of unit is just unfair with that price. Come on, a basic knight (8-5-2) without blitz and those outrageous HP-bonuses cost only half of that (and they require iron AND horses, not to mention).
- with the stats of that blood dragon, you almost have a gamebreaker-unit. There is a reason why dragons cost a kidney and the moon.
Also, same kind of stuff can be said about the vampire lord...

Actually, I kinda think dragons are too cheap... And all those huge monsters, like daemons, squiggoths, giants etc..
I don`t mind if the Blood Dragon becomes more expensive, just don`t change the other stuff, please?
@Texdionis - you know how the WH world is similar to our own.. so I chose to play against "Mediterranian" civs, Tilea (Italy+Greece), Estalia (Spain), Khemri (Egypt), Araby (... arab guys), and Ulthuan (just wanted to kick some elf-butt 
) with Lahmia (Egypt, Phoenicia and such).
I don`t mind if the Blood Dragon becomes more expensive, just don`t change the other stuff, please?

I think that compared to how small an advantage many of the other UUs give (sometimes, none at all - look at the unimpressive Nippon one, for example), the Blood Dragon is a bit overpowered.

Hey I've been playing past versions of the WH mods and liked them a lot. So when recently I downloaded the newest version I enjoyed it even more when I did play I mostly was playing Slyvania and Hordes of Chaos so I hadn't come across this certain problem before. I tried to play the Chaos Dwarves but the very first thing I try to build after I settle the first city the turn it is to be built Civ3 crashes. Its not like the kind of crash when a file is missing, it just crashes and a windows type popup comes up and says Civ3 needs has had an error and needs to close then it goes to the desktop and another popup asking if I want to send an error report or not. It has done this everytime I've tried no matter what I build or where. This is only for the Chaos Dwarves civ so I can do without them but I was looking forward to them as they were the new civ. Is there anything you guys can suggest to help? I have Civ Complete and all the patches of warhammer plus the resource patch. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

I've never played as Nippon, so I've never really noticed their UU Samurai(currently 8-6-1, cost 50). Normal infantry is only 8-5-1 with same cost. But some civs have better/same infantry as standard unit: tileans get mercenaries 9-5-1 cost 60 (atleast it's costier) and chaos get chaos warriors 8-6-1 cost 50.
So I would suggest that the Nippon UU would get 9-6-1, cost 50 or 55.

Does the same problem occur with regular dwarfs too?
The dwarf/chaos dwarf are in the "american" culture group, so does the american civs do this also in your unmodded games?
This error sound so strange, that all I can think of is that you will propably need to repair or reinstall the game. But I'm not sure at all.

Well after 4 hours of uninstalling, reinstalling Civ3 then installing all the WH things again Chaos Dwarves now work. I must say it was quite worth it keep up the good work guys.
I don't mind the Nipponese UU, comparing it to the Tileans (who're famed for their Mercenaries) and Chaos (who're famed for their "armored tank" infantry) I don't see the problem.
As you may know, we're working on incorporating two new civs into the mod, Skaven and Beastmen. However, due to the fact that the beastmen are mostly nomadic, their city list is currently 6 entries long, and none of those are real cities. So we'd sincerely appreciate any help in finding good names for them.

Does anyone have a list of beastmen tribes or something? Cos Gomurr had a similar idea with his Ogre civ concept - name the city after tribes..

The list of Aboriginal tribe names would seem to fit the bill for beastmanlike tribe names.

I d love to see Grimgror kick Gorbad Ironclaw´s ass (current orc LH) and replace him in the next patch. Calling himself an orc does he? He is just a megalomaniac goblin in too big an armour

Hey Fellas. I was digging around and found your site here. As a WHFBfan I was excited to get the game foing. However I see 50 odd pages of posts and I've had some trouble getting the mod working.
First I followed the directions on the first post, then got to finding a 2.2 selfinstalling version. anyway, I ran one after the other and can't get the mod to work. I've never used a mod before so I migh tbe doing something wrong.
Anyway, I'd love to see your work, from what I've read it sounds great but I need some help!

Hiya hoodlum, welcome to our little community
You definately need Conquests, it makes Vanilla Civ3 so much more fun, and like 99% of mods require it.
And belive me, the WH mod is the coolest one out there
