Warlords III : Darklords Rising

Anyone remember this old turn based gem? one of the all time best in the genre for sure, and one of the few games I've spent countless days and months and years on. this one never grew old and I still get a craving for it sometimes... ah nostalgia

Warlords II was also great, its Erythea map is still my all time favourite for the genre, way better even than the awesome Illuria back from Walords I .

too bad that Warlords IV was underwhelming compared to the others in the series, but hey it had a very troublesome development.

Played warlords II for some time and I loved it never tried III but if it is similar i'll give a try ^^

Oh man, I used to love the Warlords games when I was younger. Played many a game of Warlords 2 hotseat (it was a fantastic game for hotseat), and I remember Warlords 3 being even better.

Awesome games, hadn't thought about them in ages!

Whoah Gekko it's crazy how you think similar, I also loved the Erythrea map from Warlords 2 (still remember the city where you could build wizards at) and Illuria map.

Warlords III made the stacks really well. It was the pinnacle of Warlords series.
I wonder what the lead designer Steve Fawkner is up to?

We play the map Illuria, 'cause we all love it.
