Warlords Instruction Manual

On the back of my Civilization IV: Warlords instruction manual is an anverisement for CivCity: Rome, as I'm sure it is for all of you. Now, on the bottom it has the logos for Firefly, Firaxis, and 2k, but on mine, the word "Firaxis" is missing from the Firaxis logo, so that it just has the fire swirl, a blank space, and then "GAMES." Is this a unique case, or are all the manuals like this?

Mine is missing "Firaxis" as well.

It also incorrectly states the shale plant causes -2 happiness rather than -2 health.

I have the same problem. It is really disappointing. Part of the reason to go out and buy a game is to have a nice manual and box. The next expansion pack I might as well go Direct2Drive.

i think the european version is ok but american has the problem. correct me if im wrong .i'm just going by the location of some of these members who have posted on this thread

The next expansion pack I might as well go Direct2Drive.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the D2D versions of the game are not compatible with the normal retail versions, so for example, If you buy a D2D Warlords, it would'nt work with the retail version of Civ Vanilla.

when i took the book out of the box, about 20 pages fell on the floor. i was sourly disappointed in the quality of product put out. it's sad a game has such loyal followers and yet still cuts corners like this one. i love the game, but had difficulty reading the manual since it was a bunch of loose pages. i plan on having them copied and put in a binder.

how many will judge the game or the game producers by this display of workmanship?

As has been said, this seems to be a US only problem. Is Firaxis cutting more corners at home? Or are the European and Australian manuals printed and bound by different companies?

In my french manual, there is the firaxis logo.

But there is no mention anywhere of the XP boost for the charismatic trait!!!

Is the XP boost mentionned in other languages manual?
