[Warlords] - Regiment adapted with EDU

I'm trying to find where the game check what formation an unit can use in SDK & Python, without any success. :undecide:

Any help on this part would be welcome, I'll leave the formation/promotion link until then...

Right now I'm looking at some other cosmetic changes :)
 
Ill look into it tonight and pass the question off to impaler our resident SDK guru....
 
After that patch the mod is going much better; I coudnt see any changes in performance compared to vanilla (with 8+1 formations) and the units look much better (ie archers are now defending from behind the city walls, instead of forming a circle outside them) brilliant work people!

Hi,

I'm not very good at installing mods so perhaps someone could help me with this one. The instructions in the readme.txt say, "unrar in your "Civilization 4\Warlords\Mods\" folder, you should then have a "Civilization 4\Warlords\Mods\Regiments and Formations" folder
launch game, go to "advanced", "load a mod" and select "Regiments and Formations". Or use any other way that suits you :)"

I don't understand what unrar is. It's a format I'm not familar with.

Also if we have to load it as a mod, is there any way possible to use this with the Earth 24 Civ mod?

EDIT: Okay I figured how to install it after a quick google search. However, I still am curious as to how I can use this Mod with the Earth 24 mod. Any one? Thanks.
 
Well I include both this and the earth 24 mod and map as well as some other things in my mod "Unaltered But Flavorful" Click the link in my sig that says welcome to flavor country... Download the 1.0 version and then the patch to 1.3 *important*

As 1.0 is 11+1 and 1.3 is 8+1

Just curious if this mod is compatible with the HOF mod? If so, what would need to be done to make it work?

Thanks for your work on this, it is a excellent MOD. There is however a couple of things I do not like. I dont like having vehicles with my helos, I would just prefer the gunships by themselves. I also dislike the multiple ship groups, particularly the subs and transports (too many) I am sure I can figure out how to lower the amount for the subs and transports but if could please tell me how to get rid of the vehicles under my helos I would very much appreciate it, thanks.

How did you do this? I think I'd like to try this out, but your tastes are similar to mine when it comes to the vehicles with helos/multiple ships.
