We HAVE the Battleship stats: (maybe)

At least thats what appears on the latest modern age screen shot over at Apolyton. Anyone care to comment?

The 1/4 seems odd.
 
okay i am totaly lost????? 20(8)???? 24?????
1/4?????????????HELP.....SURELY THIS DOESN'T mean it attacks at 20 (whoa) what is the (8) and the movemnt seenms weird...........

I think the (8) is for bombardment. The movement baffles me too!
 
I am the moron i meant 24(8)????? 20?????
still what the heck is all that added math. i went to a Tennessee public school this attack/defend math is getting way to logrythmic for my "hampster in a wheel" in my head..........

can anybody tell i am pushing for phalanx with all these posts...hahahahahahah.
the battleship is my favorite unit. i usually build like one or two destroyers to explore then i use mass battleships (i am a very "coastal" player) to interupt other civ shiping and bombard the cities of civs i am not at contact or at war wif.......

It is 24 / 14 OR 18 / 3 / 3 (propably)
But could someone show that god-mom link to (some of) this stuff?!
And what do u mean with that 'side bar phalanx'? I still don't get it!

By the way, is there anything that shows the picture/unit for post count list????? Or does anyone have it memorized somehow.

Jeeze, not an Apolyton link... [rolling eyes] those guys are soooooooooo sllloooooowwwwwwwwwwww. It takes forever for their pages to load. Who knows, maybe they even have a decent Civ site, but as slow as they are, who knows...

From what i can gather the Battleships stats are 24(8).20.1/4 .... Now the 24 is the normal attack strength, the (8) is the attack strength when bombarding, the 20 is its armour value, and the 1/4 means it has a movement of 4 tiles but it has already moved 3 (ie. the 1st number tells you how many moves you have left and the 2nd number is the total number of moves the unit has)

Of course, did you catch the fact the 2000 AD and only researching "Miniaturization". I hope the tech research is really NOT that slow. At prince I have had Railroads by 1 AD, and BUILD Factories by 1000 AD. Hmmm... Slow tech, or clueless computer?
