Some of your reasons are in the 20th Century, are you people joking. Poland got screwed to the wall in the 20th century. They started as part of Russia and Germany and once freed by the Paris Peace Conference they decided to give the Danzig and surrounding areas into poland despite they where in every way German. The fact they invaded Vilnius in 1920 after the Soviet concieded it back to lithuania really takes my nerve. The Poles had by this time already signed a treaty concieding that Vilnius was a lithuania city, but you know, a great civilization. Then in 1939 it got... repayed for some of their doings and punished for having the Polish coridor. In my opinion Hitler was quite justified in marching troops into the Rhineland and especially retaking the Polish coridor and the Danzig. Most of the things such as the Sudetenland crisis and that weren't quite as just but the Attack on Poland in many ways was just, though the Soviet weren't just in any way. I think really Poland should have been attacked by Lithuania, but you know. And yes, the naughty little vassal of the Warsaw Pact. It was a puppet state.

In the last century Poland has been about as impressive as Adelaides tallest building, the building formerly know as the Santos building. Look upon ye' and see her 32 storys of glory. It either that or go somewhere good. [Note: I live in Adelaide]. I can see the point of including Poland because of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, but, Poland just isn't big enough or significant enough to be put in over Khmer, Austria & Israel [if there is no Israel all of Firaxis should be electrocuted until there is]........

oh, and Rome is pretty much Italy,
anyhow, modern Italy has been quite pathetic, and as for soccer I think they should win the diving in Beijing

number one, Rome is not pretty much Italy you . .. .. .. .. Both States have different law, goverments, culture, language and so on. The only thing that is the same is that their capitals are Rome and the control the Italian Penisula

A few things, I hate italy, modern italy has been no more than a shell of what it once was, and my favorite point is that modern Italy has been linking itself with the roman empire as a source of nationalism. The Faces, or the thing on the facist italian flag is a . .. .. .. .. .. . with an axe in it, A ROMAN SYMBOL OF POWER. Modern Italy has been linking itself to the past and the fact that it is still rome pretty much sums up why I've said this. I don't really want a modern italy in the game because they where no more than a face. No Italia!

Now if you don't mind I'd like a debate with someone who can conjure u their own knowladge and not wikipedia like the rest of you goits. Or maybe some actual reasearch done outside of the internet. The internet is not all knowing, if fact all it is for now is illegal downloads, porn, illegal downloads of porn and maybe some idiots thrown in to spread crap theories ranging from their intepretation of Hisotry all the way to 911 was a conspiricy.

Yah i knew that, that's why i said "etc." and also the Celts as an Ethnic Group would be the same as the Slavs or the Germanics as an ethnic group instead of Slovenian(for slavs) or English(for Germanics) The Celts also refer's to a broad range of people. And if i'm not mistaken i thought the celts were grouped togather because of there similar Language not there Genetics.

yah it sure it, i was reading something similar and apparently the Neanderthals who lived in europe, pretty much died of in the last ice age and the survivers later on moved in with the celts. So there could actually be 2 human species on this planet. That's a bit scary though.

Then a climate downturn may have caused a drought, placing pressure on the last surviving Neanderthals by reducing their supplies of fresh water and killing off the animals they hunted. The arrival of our species may of had a effect on Neanderthals survival, but i personally think it would of been tiny if any effect. The Neaderthals died out about 24,000 but you never know some of them could of had mated with our species, as we do share a common ancestor from about 400,000 years ago, meaning we should of still been compatable as a species.

Fine, Poland is not worth this game because poland has been screwed to the wall too often. It has been either a posetion of Russia or Germany until Woodrow Wilson stepped in during the Paris Peace Conferance. He saved you, not Poland itself, its a poor waste of space....
