Weak Obama backs down again

Liberals are good at doing things like slaughtering defenseless babies inside their mother's wombs but whenever faced with resistance they got no grit.

U.S. officials ended a stand-off with hundreds of armed protesters in the Nevada desert on Saturday, calling off the government's roundup of cattle it said were illegally grazing on federal land and giving about 300 animals back to the rancher who owned them.

Liberty still has defenders:

A man who identified himself as Scott, 43, said he had traveled from Idaho along with two fellow militia members to support Bundy.

"If we don't show up everywhere, there is no reason to show up anywhere," said the man, dressed in camouflage pants and a black flak jacket crouched behind a concrete highway barrier, holding an AR-15 rifle.

"I'm ready to pull the trigger if fired upon," Scott said.

Ohh.. a Republican.

For what it's worth, Obama has lost much of his support among the "Liberals" since he failed to deliver on much of his promises... namely transparency, great health care system, ending the wars, etc, etc.

It's too bad that Ron Paul was ostracized by the GOP. If he won the nomination, he'd have slaughtered Obama in the elections.

Ron Paul would have been lucky to get 30% of the votes. There was zero chance of him gaining any traction among voters. Mitt Romney was the best bet to win, and even that one was a rather slim one. Especially once he tried to cater to the far right, which may have gotten him the nomination but cost him the election. Same as in the 2008 election.

Simply put, beyond Romney, there wasn't anything of note available. There was a bunch of fringe candidates that were borderline lunatics who appealed to no one but the far right. Some who were a tiny bit more to the center, but still way too much in the right corner to win over the general public. Then a few "libertarians" who lacked the appeal to both the average voter and the far right and thus would have failed in the primaries and the election. And last but not least a few who could have been interesting to the average public but had no backing whatsoever, weren't radical enough for the far right, and thus no chance of getting nominated.

Obama is so weak, he can't even take on a welfare queen.

Word is the Bundies are demanding that Obama run high speed optical cable across public land to the ranch so they can front run the cattle futures market.

John Kerry is reportedly headed out Monday to negotiate the administration's percentage. Hairy Reid is now said to be eying northern Alaska for his Chinese backed solar farm venture.

Ron Paul was a racist, goldbug crackpot that literally believed black people went about injecting white people with aids (also believes the same about gay people doing this to straight people), believed the government created aids, believed that welfare checks ended the los angeles riots, that All Black Men in DC Are "Semi-Criminal or Entirely Criminal", dislikes black people so much he doesn't believe they're capable of holding "sensible political opinions" (only 5 percent apparently) and other disgusting things.

The man was a goddamn joke and anyone who wasn't a white, straight male would genuinely suffer under his presidentship. He was, continues to be and forever will be a scumbag.

My bad. I was just excited. The people won't have many more victories before liberty on Earth is extinguished.

All of the people who participated in this are marked now. But then again we all are to some extent.

Will the real JR please stand up, please stand up.

Source? To be honest, a lot of these super star Republican candidates fit in either or both of these categories anyway.

To whoever who thought that Mitt Romney even had a chance of winning... I'd say many of us outside of USA never had a doubt that he would lose to Obama. He's a good business man but a bad politician. By consorting with the crazy side of GOP, he pushed himself to a corner. Ron Paul would've been a game changer since he'd attract centrists and liberals and that's assuming no dirty drinks are used against him by corporate media.

What a weak president. A strong leader would've had these rebels arrested and crucified along a highway for all to see. You'd prefer that, wouldn't you?

I seriously doubt it. Gary Johnson was an inconsequential candidate, I don't see why Ron Paul would have been any different. Your scenario is nothing but a libertarian wet dream, it's completely unrealistic.

Any particular reason for thinking that? Regardless of one's opinion on Ron Paul, he is a fringe candidate - to the point where almost his entire political persona is that of a fringe candidate.

Gary Johnson is far more fringe than Ron Paul.

If my memory serves, numerous polls suggested a lead for Paul versus Obama among the independents.

Why didn't Ron Paul attract centrists and liberals to cross over and vote for him in the GOP primaries?
I'd imagine one has to be a registered Republican to vote in the primaries right?

While Paul wasn't close to clinching the nomination, there were numerous reported incidents of fraud in the primaries, which appear to be done to prevent Paul from gaining momentum. Maine came to the top of my head. Here's a video from MSNBC.

And if my memory serves, the party bosses also worked against Ron Paul in the GOP convention. Here's a link. It's true that Paul was trying to hijack the party with his strategy but he was playing by the rules until they changed it in the last minute :)

What stuck me is that the GOP would actually go out of the way to do all this.
