Weird rendering - map redraw command?

Quite a few times when I load a game, the map gets rendered with some weird floating tan triangles that hide parts of the map. You can still play, but its really annoying.

I can get rid of them by reloading, but may get different ones.

My real question - is there a way to force it to re-render the map?

Sounds like the video card is struggling slightly with the rendering. Try putting the render quality lower if you can. Also, what's the spec and is the video card getting enough power? I don't think there is any way to force a redraw of the map that I know of.
