I thought I was going to be able to end this game in this turn but the British have proven to be tougher in Florence. However, we did kill 7 redcoats for the loss of two lifeguards. The city is still British for now. Lisbon, however, is taken and my army advances to kill two more redcoats. We have broken 59000 VP. The Turks seem to have faded in the background protecting their cities against the Austrians. The Russians seem to be gearing up.... but we'll be plenty ready for them.
As for those who were wondering, yes France will make it out of anarchy before the game is over!

finally we made it out of anarchy, only to find that changing governments has not really helped change the mood of my citizens. even though, we have taken Florence and in doing so have broken 60000 VP. 2 cossacks were also killed for the fun of it. good game everyone!
