WH Discussion Thread

:help:
Could anyone get/make city lists for the Skaven and Beastmen? IIRC there's some sort of city list in the skaven thread, but I don't remember what condition it is in.
The Beastmen can use parts of the Chaos city list, but they should get some original ones, at least. ;)

Skaven have 16 cities:

Skavenblight, City of Pillars, Crookback Mountain, Hell Pit, Fester Spike, Putrid Sump, Mount Silverspear, The Black Chasm, Mount Grey Hag, Fool Peak, Karak Varn, Karak Ungor, Karak Azgul, Karak Drazh, Tobaro, Ekrund

the last six are cities also on the dwarf and estalia city lists, i think. i could probably dig up some more for you :)

Oh yeah, I wanted to suggest that too, when we were discussing the new Chaos warrior, and the Jungle swarm and everything, but I didn`t want to go over the top :D One other problem is I think Khemri has a lot of units, he`d be there just for show :) Oh, well, so are some of Chaos` units, so I guess I vote yes!

I agree with Stormrage on the tomb scorpion, also if we use the new Orc leaderhead for the Orcs will the goblins have the old one? I always thought he looked a bit puny for an Orc myself.

I think Dork fits alot better for a goblin LH than the LOTR orc! First, the LOTR one is gray. Second, he has a really small nose, actually he hasn`t got any of the goblin-like facial features...

Grandraem made Grimgor, and he looks incredible. Hard to belive its his second LH! I requested it from him, so its our little contribution to the WH mod, hope you guys like it.

I ment the new one as in Grimgor that Grandraem made as the orc leaderhead and the one we have for the Orcs at the moment as the goblin not the gray guy (i never liked him).

Ooops, I forgot about Hikaro`s LH  OK, he is green, but why would he fitt better for Goblins than Dork? He too has a realy small nose, and doesn`t have that WH feel we need. Maybe Grandraem will make a new Goblin LH too, so we can steal it, or try to request another one for us :)

I don't see what's wrong with the current Goblin LH.... It looks JUST like I've always pictured gobbos...... And my Orc looks like how I always pictured certain types of Orcs... You see, I always picutred the Uruk-Hai of LoTR looking like the Orc I did, and the Misty Mountains Orcs looking like the current LoTR Orcs, but with bigger ears, and I always picutred the Black Orcs of Mordor looking along the lines of Grimgor.....

Can`t remember those black orcs of Mordor :hmm:

I always pictured orcs like the ones in that awesome LotR cartoon, tho it shows mostly Uruks. First sight on a more widely accepted vision of an orc, the Warcraft one, was rather a surprise to me :)

The current Gobbo looks just a bit chubby to me, but thats all I don`t like about him, he is almost perfect :)

AH yes, the Uruks were the black orcs that I was talking about.. They were described as darker and bigger than standard orcs.... The Uruk-Hai, were basically Uruks with human blood, making them taller than any other orc, as well as able to tolerate being abroad during the day (all other Orcs in LoTR absolutely abhored daylight and would only come out at night).

First, Grandraem makes me a LH... then, jamesundquist makes me a background pic (he kinda got confused, but its funny :)), and now Shiro Kobbure... the non-fantasy guy!, agreed to make a Savage Ork Boy!... Since I`m on a roll here, any luck with that Vampire Lord, LMR? Or did you put him on ice, so we could have the Skaven faster?

If you wish to have that tomb scorpion (which I personally don't think that Khemri would need - they already have quite a lot of those units), maybe it could be a 6-5-2, +2HP, quite high cost (~130) assassin ...

About those orc/goblin leaderheads:
- current goblin leaderhead (with the grinning skull in the background) is just perfect :)
- Grandraem's "orc" leader looks quite nice, but it's a bit static (the only things moving are head and face). EDIT: I just noticed, that he also created a true orc. I'll have to check that one out.
- Hikaro's orc leader looks fine, altough it could look a bit "nastier"

When in doubt, just refer to my WHFB-to-Civ3 unit stats tool ;)

So 6.5.2, +2 HP for the Tomb Scorpion, aaglo?

I'm playing a new game as the Dolgans, and i've almost reached the second age and... i'm in the $h!t. the dolgans have almost NO second age units.

I know this was mentioned earlier when it was suggested that the dolgans become the kurgan or something like that.

will there be more units added to the dolgans, or will they become the kurgan?
