Yeah, I listened through it a couple of days ago and I couldn't really tell when songs started and ended unless I was actively paying attention. Despite that, it's still a pretty good bunch of songs, if not necessarily a great album as such.

I had heard of this band before, but I never properly listened to them because I thought they had a stupid name. I heard some of their earlier songs before and now I'm wondering how many cigarettes the lead singer had to have smoked to deepen his voice so dramatically . Now I really like them.

Manic Street Preachers - (It's Not War) Just The End of Love

New album is average. Seems like an atempt to recreate their 90s glory days (just like most of their albums). This album just feels godless, unlike their previous "Journal for Plague Lovers" which was built on tears and blood. (but they did say they will never do that again)

We could use a thread for reviewing albums, but then again i'll prolly be the only one posting there.

Crippled Black Phoenix – We Forgotten Who We Are

Their new album - I,Vigilante - is great, tho kinda short. With their previous album they proclaimed they compose "end time ballads"; they managed to live up to that with this album as well. It still sounds like a neverending wait for the apocalypse to start, and then a wait for it to pass; they managed to create a creeping gloomy ambient but keeping a glimmer of optimism underneath it all.
