What are you playing to pass the time?

SM's Pirates! I bought it a few weeks ago to check out the graphics and got into it pretty quick, but have been wavering since I've got Civ on my brain... I'm going to step up a difficulty level this weekend and try to get rich, famous and married in 1 day! 2 SOTLs is my real goal for the next game.

I'm trying to do the non-game stuff I know I won't get done once Civ comes out. I know I'm not going to stop playing civ until my mouse hand is throbbing in pain, so I'm trying to get any computer stuff I have to do done now. And catch up on the pile of books I won't be reading when I get Civ as well.

I have mainly been playing C3C, but have also played a little bit of SimCity 4.

I've been playing Medieval:Total War as well as Sims 2. My guy keeps wanting to WooHoo in public, and I can't get anyone to watch :) haha.

not sure if you know this, but all you have to do to get public woohoo is call a taxi and go to a public lot with someone. make sure you edit the lot you're going to first to add a hot tub.

as for my games, i've been playing pirates a lot this week, along with civ 3 and x-com: ufo defense.

command & conquer generals: zero hour, with the zero hour reborn mod. best way to rain down destruction and let out some aggression

and nhl 2006, to keep the other side of the brain happy

I play Civ3 conquests and Tradewings 2

That's a fun little game. At least for a while.

Right now I'm playing Final Fantasy VI, which I finally managed to obtain few weeks ago. I also got this strange urge to install VII as well. Shame it doesn't seem to work too well this time.

I've played about 1.5 hours of DungeonSiege II in the past two weeks. Roll back another month, or so, and I was playing 4 to 5 hours of R:TW a week. I also have Boiling Point, Rollercoaster Tycoon III and Fate on my machine... but I haven't touched 'em in months.

As an aside, I've been somewhat dissappointed by most of the stuff I've seen/played recently. They're all fun for awhile, but they lack that spark that keeps me coming back. I can't tell if the games are becoming less compelling, or if I'm becoming more jaded.

C3C
Rome Total War

Colosseum: Road to Freedom

I want to get these games next week.....

1. Civ4
2. The Warriors
3. Grand Theft Auto Liberty Stories

guild wars a lot lately, I'm going to have to start splitting my time soon, and I'm sooo excited

I've been earning my stripes :salute: in Battlefield 2... It's pretty fun :ar15: [pissed] and keeps my mind off of the fact that I can't wait for Civ IV...

Was playing Civ 3 untill I lost 3 tanks in a row to a speerman. Now stopped playing in disgust.

I'm having troubles finding any game that can busy myself until the release of civ4.. I'd have to say that Crusader Kings has helped.. Along with RTW and an amazing old space RTS called Hegemonia. But mostly i've been reading books! Try it! Try the SPQR series. :P.
