Time for another poll. I'm curious which Civ traits people prefer. You can select 3 traits because if you're like me you have two or more Civs that are your favorites, depending on which traits you feel like playing at the moment.

If you think of a trait the developers missed, add a post explaining what it is. For me, "unit invulnerability" would be nice, though that might lead to rather quick and boring games.:lol:
 
Religious, Militaristic, Expansionist.

Militaristic, expansionist and seafaring. I like immediate action :D.
I definitely dislike agricultural. Too powerful.

I'm afraid I had to pick four: Ag/Ind/Exp/Com.
I have a particular soft spot for Expansionist civs on low-level games for the massive boost of hut-popping.
 
I think every trait has its purpose and the key is using traits to their advantage.

However some traits are more all round than others.

Some traits weigh more strongly to certain victory conditions than others.

I agree with Bartelby that on low level pangeas expansionist is a strong trait, while on high level Archipelogos sea faring becomes more useful.
 
For information the favourite 3 traits I chose were Agricultural, Commercial and Scientific.

The combination of Agricutural & Commerical with their UU makes the Iriquois particularly strong.

Same here. In a low-level game on Continents or Panagea, you will always be ahead on score if you'r expansionist.
