What are your thoughts on the "empire of the smoky skies" scenario?

What are your thoughts on the "empire of the smokey skies" scenario?

Is the gameplay very different from the main game, or is it the same but simply with new unit graphics and leaders?

Its basically the same albeit with altered victory conditions, reskinnings, and an altered tech tree. It has a few unique units though.
Interesting of note; at one point, one of the leaders approached me and in his text was a reference to Germany, it was stock text from Bismarck. That was kind of silly.
But it's a fun scenario to play out, but don't expect too much new stuff out of it, and it's really short.

It's extremely fun. The units aren't too unique, with the exception of the Sky Fortress (It's like an aircraft carrier crossed with a helicopter)

You mean like a hovering base for air units?? That's awesome!!!

Yep, and it's not too weak offensively either. It's terrible at defence, but the plane boarding it can help defend it. It only gets to hold 1 unit though.

It's a scenario. In other words I don't care.

It has Aetherium from Laputa and that's all that matters

Anyways it was a nice scenario, but it wasn't anything crazy-amazing like I thought it would be.
