What can be found in water lairs?

Simple question really. I scarcely end up exploring them because I almost inevitably awake Drowns. Do they have the same potential rewards land-based lairs?

Not sure what all the possibilities are, but if you use a scout unit (on board a ship) to explore the lairs, it should significantly reduce your chances of getting any of the negative results.

Actually, scouts don't do any better in lair exploration. The only thing that helps is the level of the exploring unit (number of promotions taken). Using a living unit instead of a boat to explore the lair opens up more non-monster bad results (poisoned, crazed, diseased, etc.).
