I chose Siam, Polynesia, Israel and the Indus Civilization. On second thought, who would you pick as the leader of the Indus Civilization, since I don't think any names are known?

Of the Civs on the list I'd only have Poland and the Hittites, and possibly one or two Asian civs (i don't care which, forgive me my ignorance).
In addition I would have liked to see Serbia and the Anasazi (the only "civilzed" Native Americans I've heard of).

Have you never heard of the Cherokee, of "the five civilized tribes" _ Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Seminole and Creek? The Cherokee even devsied their won alphabet, which the entire tribe learned in two years.

Brazil of course, it's the 5th largest country in the world and it was an empire when it was being ruled by Dom Pedro II.Well, Canada should be there too.

i also can't see how Vietnam, 1 of 1.5 countries in the World (other is Iraq) who resisted American "imperialism", superpower imperialism, and inventor of Pho, could be left out for Khmer... ;)

well, i do know the Khmer were the largest SE Asian empire. ever.

Well... Iraq didnt hold up that well. (I guess that's why its a .5) Seeing as it didnt work out too well for the french, we decided to give up...

Isn't the Indus civilization just the forerunner of India? Why is it even included?
No, it's not- the Indus Valley Civilisation, also known as the Harappan Civilisation, were wiped out a long time ago, and have had relatively importance in the development of Indian culture. They are thought to be a Proto-Dravidian peoples, but were destroyed by Indo-Aryan invaders, and their culture largely was lost. Because that region became dominated by the Indo-Aryans, with the Dravidian peoples mainly being in the South and East of India, it is unlikely that they had a great direct effect on the development of later Dravidian culture.
However, it should still be left out because too little is known about it to properly represent it in the game.

Israel, Vietnam, and Sweden are on my list. Plus ALBANIA!

Imagine it, seriously.

"Albania? What the hell?"

Enver Hoxha (Industrious/Protective)
Skanderbeg (Charismatic/Protective)

Hell, try to imagine a Hoxha leaderhead. Probably him grinning his ass off.

The vietnam which resisted American Imperialism was the modern one. If any Vietnam is in the game it should be a more ancient one. And I think your idea of noodle house UB is a good one ;)

The game need modern nations like Brazil...
C'mon the expansion is about a modern age... It is in its name!

thanks. :D

and, plus, if we do Ancient Vietnam, we get the Trung Sisters as leaders! thats two in one! mucho better than Boadicea!

Not to mention Germania, Eastern Francia and the Teutonic Kingdom! It is an outrage!

Don´t forget the Hansa League.

Actually, if HRE can be in. That might not be such a bad choice... Actually, I just thought of a rather large re-work of the leader choice. Why not choose era. Hm, have to go back to work now, but I might make put this idea in the suggestion forum after I have given it a little more thought.

Sorry for that, but what the difference among Native Americans/Sioux/Iroquois?

The different north american civilizations WERE different, and shouldn't be lumped together. We're talking a whole continents worth of different peoples. It's like saying "What the difference among europeans/germans/spanish." There is a huge difference in history, culture, time period, building style, etc . . . So extreme that you literally can't represent them together.

Pueblo's built huge towns of stone, iroquois medium towns of wood, the sioux used to build with clay and mud (mound builder) but adopted the horse and abandoned farming with the european introduction of the horse, the cherokee adopted everything from guns to plantations, and a lot of tribes just got wiped out. You simply can't represent ANY of them by trying to represent them all.

When I vote FOR Sioux or Iroquois, I'm also voting AGAINST Native American. It's a bad civ, and I hope they replace it with several others in the next expansion.

You have "civs" like Australian Aboriginals and Commonwealth of Australia, but you dont have Dacia or Bulgaria?

From your civs only Hittites, Israel, Austria, Poland and Polynesia would be decent choices.

My votes: Poland, Austria, Israel.

I think also that we still lack few IMPORTANT German states: let's add Prussia, Bavaria, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg, Westfalen, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein, Thüringen.
Then finally there we will have enough Germans in civ4.
Also those states cover Eastern Europe - aren't they ;) ?

 How dare you miss Lower-Saxony!!11 Henry the Lion, and eh... lots of sheep and frisians and...a bit of this culture-thing, too ( I do not know where I have put it, should be somewhere around here ) . Ah... just dump all the other unimportant provinces. Lower Saxony FTW!
