Just wondering, but what did everyone do during the downtime? I actually visited Apolyton, and mostly spent my hours trying to get some Civilization III stuff I failed to get the night before...

Huzzah! It's great to be back.

Me?

I was awake the entire time, just sitting there pressing reload.

- Signed the guestbook
- read the guestbook
- Played Starcraft
- Read
- Visited Cornmaster's forums
- Chatted with people
- Ate crumbs on my desk
- Read some more
- almost fell asleep, but I didn't
- Visited Apolyton, but it was too slow so I left
- Sulked about how I broke my good computer, and how I am reduced to using a mac :o

- As well as other things. Glad the forums are back TF!

I went and saw "a walk to remember", then got all depressed... realized how lonely i was... and... um... *cries uncontrollably as he runs from the room*

I went to Investors.com and almost finish reading their courses on how to buy and sell stocks :)

Besides that it was emailing Telefragged about the forum problem and progress every few hours and telling people to spam the guestbook... :scan: :D

I don't know about you... but I mostly played CIVILIZATION 3... when you can't discuss it, why don't play it?

Well I have to agree, I often pressed the windows button to see if the forum was up or not... but no news... so I went to the Democracy Backup Forum to see if there was any action and I saw a post saying that the Forum was up! So since then I've been here posting and reading...

P.S. Been practicing playing with the English, boy is it good to build the Lighthouse or what with them, it triggers their Golden Age, beutiful!

I fought it the whole time!
I was posting my FF3 map when it went down and I was just about to post my jpg up when the site FLIPPED OUT!
I hit Refresh for three hours just reading that it should only take a half an hour then when it said wait a few more hours I went to NewGrounds.com AND THEY CRASHED TOO!
so then I checked out Crono Trigger Rip off but guess what?they were down too  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DAMN WAS SATURDAY THE OFFICIAL PISS OF KEFKA DAY!
any way I shut down the computer and checked it at like 2 A.M. and it was still down!
finally at 12:00 (somewhere around there) Civ Fanatics was back up.
and Iv'e been here ever since. :D

Glad to know you Hope you can guess my name.

Thank you this has been Kefka story.

Without being very specific, lets just says that afterwards, I needed to apply a soothing ointment to a part of my body.

On Saturday when I went to see if Civfanatics was up...it wasn't.

Annoyed I went over to Apolyton...to find it was down...

I then finished of some AApacific PBEM moves, sent out a diplomacy e-mail or two and then did some modding for civ3.

Later went out for the all-nighter Counterstrike, Medal of Honour etc at the LAN/Internet Cafe Reality-X...where the beer is free and so was the food...20 of us played for 13 hours straight from 7 pm Sat to 8 am Sunday...

As you may have guessed Sunday was taken up with sleep, a walk in town for exercise and to find somewhere open that sells milk, reading Liddell Hart's book "The Strategy of the Indirect Approach" and finally modding for civ3...

The results of my modding can be seen VERY soon (half an hours time perhaps) in the Civ3 USERMADE maps.

:D

And lets say you didn't need much ointment at all :p

Btw, I went to another forum

I ate, bought some sweaters, played Civ3, went to other forums, did my homework, stared at my homework because I realized there was nothing to do, marked all of my emails from here "read", watched TV, etc.

Hit F5 about twenty-seven bazillion times. Went over, grabbed my seppeku knife, and contemplating ending it all, then put it back on the stand with the katana and wakizashi, and cried myself to sleep. At work today, I just sat there and worked all day. The...horror. The...unspeakable...horror.

I was in Montreal for a Model UN conference the entire time, no affect on me. I just have a ton of work I need to make up now.

Watched the AFC Championship (GO PATS!!!!!) Studied for my psych test tommorow (damn you Clark Hull!!!!)
Spent about twenty minutes on the phone trying to explain drive theory (psych stuff) to my IDIOT classmate. Went to bar (I love living a two minute walk from my fav bar) Watched an awesome movie (the Tao of Steve). Breifly contemplated doing an activity that would require me to stand up.

Checked now and then, but basically just worked, ate, slept, and went over to a buddy's house to watch the playoffs.

Oh yeah, and sent my tanks and howies on a new blitz of half of the fundy Japanese empire.... :smoke: Smoked 'em good, too!

Glad to hear it was a tough time for everyone, not just me. Hit refresh with manic frequency, deluding myself that I was missing something that demanded my urgent attention.
Of course, as soon as everything was back, I looked... then logged off for a bit :) .

It was terrible. Promise me the forum will never go down again!

Well, I spent the time watching all 8 Trigun DVDs while eDonkey was d/l the new Enterprise episodes :D

First I sat in a dark and lonely corner of my room and cried.

And then I finished off the design stage of my fantasy modpack!!WAHOOOOO
