The Northpole in Civ4.
(without Exploit usage !)

I play on Prince, Small map, continents, 18 civs, high sea level.

(1)1-3 early expansion wars ( I attack )
(2)Long term peace with research and country building.
(3)1-2 Modern wars (The AI attack )

However, I belive I'm going to start playing on Monarch soon, the challenge on Prince is beginning to fade :king:.

Chieftain currently, to get the feel of the interface and the sense of the tech tree, but hopefully I should be at Noble within the next couple games. I was a Monarch Civ3 player.

Noble and on my first game i came second to last thanks to Alexander attacking me :( Second game was going well with me as top culture till i spotted the stinker. Now he is doing the same thing again :( lolz

Its very good fun though.

Getting my butt kicked in Noble, and will probably have to step down a notch. Learning really fast that you need to start your game with a plan, and to do that, you need to know the tech tree very well.

It's a blast. :goodjob:

So far I played one game on Warlord, just to get myself used to the new features, and one game on Noble. I won both of them, so I'm now going to start a game on Prince.

Prince.

I play large/huge maps with +1/+2 civs than normal.

Noble in my first game, now Monarch in my second. Planning to keep moving up until I lose. It's still early days, but it looks like I'm winning my current game, so Emperor is next up...

You forgot "Deity", btw. :)

Hmmmm, I play on Chieftan for the nonce. Perhaps in a couple more weeks I'll crank it up another notch. I really like the game but I'm NO strong competitor.

:D

Only Noble so far, won 2 lost 1. Actually went up a knotch and got waxed so quickly I'm not going to count it.:(

I just switched to Prince after winning two Noble games. My current game has been a bit more challenging... I've been running third or fourth in score out of 10 civs. Should be interesting to see if I can pull out a win or not...

I just got it, so I'm still in my first game. I chose Warlord for a soft introduction and so far I'm winning by walkover. So it'll be Noble for me next time.

I'm currently playing Noble.

The difficulty in which I have the most wins on, is Monarch; so it's probably the wisest choice for me to put it down as my answer

I'm playing Noble, but it's starting to not be challenging -- I find that as long as I have an early expansion war, I end up in the lead easily. The problem is that damn space race... I wanted to try and win a domination victory (tho i'd probably not have succeeded) but then Elizabeth started building the spaceship so I had to stop all my wars and start myself.

I've won spaceship and diplomatic victories with Noble, but I may bite the bullet and turn off those options and see if I can win a domination victory under Noble. (I hate tweaking the options like that)

i think ICBM would have been very useful against them in that case. You just drop a few nukes, then their economy will be so seriously damaged that you win a lot of turns to continue for conquest victory. Only theory tough...

I still have the chance to lose at Monarch, though I can handle Emperor or even Immortal on some maps/settings/civs.
