I'm a software developer. Sadly, web development instead of strategy game development, since that's where there's a lot of jobs in the industry right now (and more importantly, where I wanted to live). I'd rather being doing something closer to the silicon than over-the-Internet, but it's OK for now.

I do have a history minor; Civilization didn't hurt with that, but some really great history teachers in high school are the main reasons for my interest in history. Although I started playing Civilization the summer before high school started (as well as before I started programming), so it can't really be said that I was interested in Civilization because of prior experience with either of those.

I'm a web developer as well, although I was still in high school when I originally joined this forum/started playing Civ (3)! lol

Well, when we have a little time to spare from our hard day to day, we play this boring game where we have a house, a family, a car, and we go to work, come back, eat lunch... boring but addictive.

No, it's not The Sims.

:D

So, I guess I can't hit you up for one of those fat, "been steaming for 6hrs" hotdogs in a lightly toasted bun with horseradish, relish, jalepeños, and hot mustard? Yummm. When's lunch?

Just eat at Subway. Do they sell hotdogs though?

BTW, belle, welcome to the forums. It's nice to see another woman here. :)

I'm an insurance manager. My daughter does endless hours of synchronised swimming, which I mostly take her to - with my laptop, and Civ4 BTS!

High school student

I'm still in school. Compared to alot of people here I appear very young. :old:

I'm surprised there isn't a "nothing" option.

Ooohhh I feel stupid now. That was a very clever pun. At first I thought it was an insult. Don't judge :p

Those of us who cannot pass up a pun are not allowed to pass judgement. :crazyeye:

Welcome to the crowd by the way, glad to have ya! :wavey:

This is by far my favorite group on the Internet. :) anyhow, before a moderator tells us to get back on track. I actually hadn't played legitimately in ages (a few months) because I was just so busy. It is nice to be back.
