What does "Stealth" ability do?

What does Stealth abilitity do? I was thinking about making it a ability for subs or sumthin... just need to know what it does!!!

Stealth is only used for air units. It reduces the chance that the unit will be interecepted by opposing aircraft on Air Superiority missions.

If you want to make invisible ground units, you should select the Submarine ability (though I think it's actually called 'Invisible' in the new version of the editor).
