What hobbies do you have?

Spearfishing is my newest hobby, I've only been at it a handful of times. It's a bit of a hassle but getting into the water is always a great nature experience. I didn't know anybody doing but it has increased in popularity in the later years so I just sort of stumbled into it. I've yet to harpoon a fish but I did find a bunch of scallops last time i was out. Hopefully I'll be able to bag a fish this summer. The water is too cold for me during winter/spring. Even with a thick wetsuit.
I have been spearfishing since I was 10 yo. At some point it even became kind of an (illegal) job, and at that point things got dangerous since greed prevailed over safety. I quit a couple of years ago mostly because ethical reasons and now I have a lot of spearguns and other stuff sitting in my garage. Have you considered scuba diving instead? It is way cooler. You could even change your speargun for an underwater camera.

Scuba looks like tons of fun but it has a much higher entry level as you need classes+certificates, and quite a bit of gear that also require some maintenance. But I'm sure it's amazing once you get in the water.

I collect spores, molds, and fungus.

It is better not to have your own stuff but to rent from a club. You are not going to use it that much to justify the investment anyway and you won't have to care about maintenance either. Basic certificates are pretty easy to obtain. You can get PADI Open Water certification in a couple of weekends.

Tell em about the Twinkies (Sorry had to resist since I just rewatched ERB Ghostbusters v. Mythbusters).

@Kyriakos you should claymation your YouTube readings and then soundtrack it with your guitar

I might (vaguely) recall how to play the pentatonic, but my fingers are now soft as dough and you can't play guitar with that.

Besides, it would take less time to just use a music-notation program; they have guitar sound option.

Well that leads me to my next suggestion :D

I could build a paper menagerie and have those animals become alive.
The problem would be, though, that a paper tiger can't defeat anything.
Paper antelopes?
