What is "Stream Controller"

Looked at Stream to get price of Civ 6 - shows 2 options with "stream controller". What is this and is it worth the extra money?

It's a game controller, like you'd find on a Playstation. It doesn't add anything at all to Civ VI.

Good for car games and anything best played with a console-style Controller. Also makes for a decent remote control for your PC at a distance if watching tv etc.

It's not good for platformers because it lacks a D-Pad. The thing I find it best for is playing games like Civ that were designed for m/kb from a relaxed position.

Well yeah, but anything "best played" on a D-Pad is better played on a keyboard imo. But for games with analogue desirability it works well. And it's a decent remote control!

I wouldn't use it for civ myself but I could see it as being functional if you wanted to work from a relaxed position.
