Tune in January 30 for a new livestream: Multiplayer & Post-Launch

I wonder what does this option do:

Maybe it means the game ends at that age / don't transition to the next, being the way to make an one age game?

THat's how I read it. It keeps your game to a single Age.

I don't think so, as the Dev Diary they just released implies that such a feature doesn't exist just yet. I think this turns off the Crisis, which one of the Streamers did (Boesthius?)

There's a seperate one, I think that the optoin simply ends the game once you reach the transition, and you get scores but don't transition.

I wonder if the dev diary was referencing adding "full victory" conditions other than just score to the other ages during single age games
Didn't they mention this right before they wrapped up? That they are looking into implementing Victory Conditions for every age for those who want to play single-age games.

If true, that would be fantastic. And might make me almost never play the Modern Age so..."make people finish games" goal failed. :shifty:

Bermuda Triangle again? Oh God!!
Not again, so that probably means we are also getting the "fountain of youth" again or some other mythical nonsense instad of actual natural wonders for the caribbean. It's really immersion breaking, we might as well have elf couldrons at the end of rainbows.

If I dare to say (I think that you joked, but anyway I want to say this), actually, the goal successed. Because their goal was "make people finish games", not "make people finise entire ~Modern game".
When there are proper victories in each Age and the players can reach it and win the game, I'll say it is where "the game finished".

TBF I only left two or three games of Civ6 unfinished, but if they give me the option not to play the Modern Age and still properly win...I'm seizing it. :D

Sabotage shipping sounds annoying AF, if the AI uses it a lot against you. Is there any counter spy stuff to defend your self against such things?
Yes, counterspy is a diplomatic option.

They are annoying, but remember repairing tiles just cost some gold, you don't have to spend several turns to repare like in CIV6.

But the term "destroy" is indeed worrysome, it might mean that the whole building is removed... But I think it is more like pillaging (so pay to repair), since removing an isolated building might lead to quarters not linked to the city center (when creating urban quarters, you mus place them next to an existing one).

For some reason I ended up with two identical twitch drops in my inventory, one of them stuck halfway through the 15-minute mark

The first one I got was called Old-Don't-Use for a while. It did not instill a lot of confidence in me.
