We've been seeing a lot of US fighters finding their way onto the boards as of late, which is great, but now we need some other similar units for other nations so that the whole world isn't using the F-14 and F-18.

The Su-27K is a naval variant and I think they even made a navalized Fulcrum along with the Frogfoot Su-25. France has the Rafael and of cource the F-35 JSF for Britain and America.

Plus most of a russain carriers airwing consists of helicopters because they are defensive carriers designed to protect their submarine assets.

Here are some pics of the soviet carrier
Kuznetsov ,you can see the su27's with wings folded on deck in one of them

That SU-27 looks a lot like the regular jet fighter. Is that what it is, or is it another Soviet jet.

The Mig-29 is the normal civ3 jet fighter.

So is anybody planning on creating some Soviet Fighters? That SU-27 is a drooler for sure.

He just offered up his SU-27 files for somebody else to work on. :(

Hopefully somebody will take up the task.

If you really wanted to be unkind to the Russians, you could equip their carriers with Yak-38's. It is/was roughly analaogous to Britain's Harrier jump jet, but was quite the turd from what I understand.
