Oh? I didn't realize I can run a relatively "heavy" Steam game such as Civilization under Wine. Thanks, I'll take a look, it will certainly be quicker to try out than setting up bootcamp...

(Edit: Just to make it clear, I am not any sort of Mac zealot, it is just that due to my job my workstations have to be Mac and Windows runs under Fusion which does not do games).

I use a mac for my work. I have a PC for games/modding. No hate from me.

Wine will work - it won't be perfect, but keep in mind that the Aspyr port you are using is, essentially, an emulation as well. So it probably won't feel that different.

Hey everyone.

Made a clean install, put EUI, still everything fine. Added this mod, enabled mods, started with Attila on random map, standard with Time victory condition ticked off. It crashes on turn 2-3.

Interface is looking fine, in tech tree things are changed, authority instead of honor etc. Any proper way to see why I am getting crashes? I have the complete edition

I Updated it to the 6-15-1 Version and unfortunately it only had one small change, A singular source of wheat spawns next to my home city. No other mods enabled, so I got no idea what's going on.

Just trying to upgrade from a previous version. Didn't work the first time with the automatic installer, so did a clear uninstall and tried again. Something isn't quite right.

When I found a city, the tooltip for the Monument and Shrine say "C:\Users\Agatheis\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\(6a) Community Balance Patch Compatibility Files (EUI)\LUA\EUI_tooltip_library.lua:66: bad argument #2 to '_L' (argument must be .)

Everything else seems fine.

Is there a reason NotificationPanel.lua and NotificationPanel.xml aren't listed under files to be deleted when using EUI & CP? I found the EUI ribbon didn't work until I deleted them from the "Community Patch\LUA" folder.

Or should I be installing the EUI Compatibility files?

My understanding was that if you just want CP and EUI, you should install "(1) Community Patch.zip" and "eui_v1_28g.zi"p separately, and then delete

Is the installer script available anywhere for examination?
I'd like to look at it as it seems there is a need to have an EUI version of just the CP option and I don't believe that is currently an option. Could be wrong about that.

I've noticed a few users wanting to install just CP with EUI or even CP without More luxuries etc. and not knowing how to go about it.

If the installer could provide all those options that would be handy.
