OT I know, but how can wikipedia justify calling Drexel a 'city', with a stupid population of little over a thousand. Some 'villages' in UK have a bigger population than a thousand, so are they metropolises?

I think it is a legal distinction. It's incorporated and has a legal charter for the governing of the city.
