What music do you hate?

There is not one genre of music that I hate. For each genre, there will be talented individuals and groups that will do really good music.
I have yet to come across an entire genre of music that consists of nothing but crappy music.

Rap is basically the worst genre ever! How can anyone listen to a bunch of monotone words and verses that either go to fast for you to understand or two slow to keep you fully awake.

Follow closely in very close second is Chinese Pop, every Chinese Pop song was invented to screw my insides because a good 96% of them all has something to do with la-ooovvveee. And it sickens me! The tunes are basically recycled trash of Western music with added "traditional tunes" Vomit...

1. Country/western

2. Rap/Hip-hop

3. Techno/dance/trance/electronica

4. The radio

There's no one genre that I could say I really hate, but I usually hate whatever is popular. And no, not just because it's popular, because the moment something does gain a bit of momentum, suddenly the radio is filled with lame, disgestible and completely replaceable imitators that are promoted far beyond thier actual talent.

For eg, the whole 'new punk'/emo/cali scene that came out a while ago, playing songs that might as well be 80's hair metal but with fake 'punk' production values. Or the crap on the radio they call hip hop now that every douche with a casio can be the next big 'crunk star'. Or the iodiotic 'serious' hard rock bands like Nickelback and the tousand other bands that sound exactly like them.

PLENTY! I don't think there's a genre I don't really like, my CD collection spans pop to jazz to bluegrass to country to hip hop to metal to punk to electronica to whatever, but I can't stand the stuff that makes it onto top 40 radio!

Dude have you heard Johnny Cash? Dolly Partons Jolene? Hank Williams?

Just because the vast majority of the country music that comes out is crap, dosent mean all of it is. The same can be said about most other genres.
