I find it really annoying if i EVER declare war on anybody even once i cant get right of passage for free with any civ for the rest of the game.

But thats not what i find annoying. I find it annoying that in diplomacy that they SAID I HAD THE AGGREEMENT AND BROKE IT. Thats just not true. I have many times declared war on people in multiple games without ever signing a ROP with them.

So why do they say i broke the treaty when i havent? Other nations should still do ROP with me.

So i have to be peaceful the whole game to have ROP with anyone? Thats just not fair.

If you have any troops in enemy territory when you declare, then you have broken an "implicit" RoP agreement.

The only way to avoid that is to make sure you have *all* your units outside their territory, declare war, then move in.

No... i dont have ROP with anyone. And when i declare war on a random civ every other civ refuses to sign ROP with me ever again.

Even if i have never signed ROP with the civ i declared war on.

That doesnt make sense.

Not a "legally binding" one, like signing and actual RoP, but an "implied" one - in that they don't declare war on you for being there.

Oh i get it. So thats why... Thanks a bunch for the tips! :)

I get that problem alot! It ticks me off. In a recent game of mine, I gave India 12000 gold for 4 MA techs, then declared war on them the same turn. I then move my 10 cavalry into the Indian's last city and conquer it. Some turns later, I try selling lux to other civs, but they say "you have broken deals with india in the past. no!", when i NEVER even had a per turn deal with them when I attacked them. The AI has an unfair advantage to simply declare war on whoever whenver and still trade.grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Did you have troops in the AI's territory when you DOW'ed the AI? Or did you break a peace treaty (DOWing less than 20 turns after war)
