Incidentally, a thing I learned recently is that Abraham Lincoln had a body double. If you see a photo of him standing, it's Lincoln's head pasted on to the double's body. Apparently Lincoln was too scrawny to show up well.

That isn't true at all - don't spread misinformation You may be referring to one specific posthumous instance in which one printer put Lincoln's head over a portrait of Calhoun (among other alterations to the image). This was done because there were no photos of Lincoln in such a pose (standing tall and proud).

That's it though - there is no Lincoln "body double" and all other known photos of him are genuine.
