(what the f*** are?) Aggression Pacts

I've been playing a game just now and have found that it is expansion that's the key. Only WhenI build a load of new cities does the AI start getting all mardy.

It's funny really, as every foreign Civ has a pact against me - then they'll go to war with each other, and the very turn the war between the two ends, guess what? They sign a pact against me!

It's very intersting though, when two AI civs are enemies forever, the fight for like 500 years, and then one day you get the following messages:

"The war between the ... and the ... has ended."
"The ... and the ... sign peace treaty."
"The ... and the ... sign Dickcity Treaty to contain YOUR agression."

All this on the same turn. Am i that bad a person?

Here's another one for you:

I made certain Civ A wasn't allied/in contact with any others before - so I go to war with Civ A - and it turns out they have pacts with 2 other Civs!

Darn it!

Maybe I should go and socialise with the real world...

Yeah, those computers sure see a lot of "ghost agressions", so to speak. I mean, even if I play a civ that has *NEVER* declared war on anyone, and been involved in a maximum of 4-5 wars throughout it's entire existance, still the computer calls me the Aggressor and has the Zulus and the Russians make alliances against me...

In ONE turn?!?!?!?

I thought anti-human pacts were signed between AI controled civs only when you were involved in a long lasting war,,,,,,

Na-ha.
It happened to me. I was at war with the japs, while they themselves were at war with the russians, but on one turn i got the three messages.
Sneaky bastards.
Now i'm more and more into the theory that ALL of the AI civs have a built in human-player-destruction-virus.
