What to do when you get tired of Civing

Get yelled at, go to school, get yelled at in school, get yelled at some more, get yelled at to go to sleep, get yelled at to wake up, rinse lather repeat. Average life of a 13 yeer old

Play some Half Life 2, putting more personal challenges each time. Right now I'm trying it on hard mode w/ NO shotgun, grenades, and no backtracking for medkits. Try that its quite hard.

I post on the forum, of course, what else would I do?

Although, I sometimes venture into this "real world" which opperates on "real time", so I get confused easily, and have return to civ and civfanatics.

I got Civ 3 the day it came out and all the expansions. I've taken 2 long breaks up to 4 months each. I do get burned out. Last spring/summer was my last break where I played Galactic Civilizations and got sucked into about 150 hours of Morrowind (barely started it). I just got Tribes Vengeance as I've been itching for a FPS and it was only $20. I'm due for another Civ 3 break so Tribes:V and the beta for Gal Civ 2 will be my fix. Oh yea, my wife gets some time too. :D

I switch to RA2. Then switch back when that gets boring.

Draken, how is Groo these days?! :) :)

Groo is trying to fit in this "politically correct" era, but is having some problems at that. Nevertheless, he still enjoys his cheese dip and is seriously thinking of running for Governor in California. ;)

There are plenty of things that distract me from playing Civ. Such as RL, Halo2, football, hockey, and my girlfriend.

I still find time to Civ though.

I play Mercenaries on the XBox. Unfortunately, most of my time is spent dealing with work and wife, which leaves little time for CIV...my last game was last fall. Fortunately, when I'm in my office (4 months of the year) I can hang out on this forum.

edit: Hey, over 100 posts, and it only took 3 years.

I may try a new computer game, or go back to one I already have that I enjoyed (Diablo II, Doom III, America's Army)

or I may devote more time to tinkering with .Net, or Perl

I already read quite alot, so reading more isn't really an option for me.

Poor guy, I hate to tell you but it doesn't get any easier, but your post definitely made me laugh and sympathize, I was a teenager long time ago. (I was 13......28 years ago)
