Amazingly quick University connection for another 3 weeks and then back to cable... :(
 
Under cable... Thats what I would assume anywa as cable is usually rated at 512kps...

I have 56K still. :suicide: However thats only because my father, who I might add is tech dead(he can not even change the screen reslolution :mad: even throught I have told him how 5 times already), likes AOL for some damn reason. I plan to try and get AOL for Broadband(Sadly it is a Bring your own Broadband thing :rolleyes: ) with GWI, the price will be equalt to that of roadrunner. :eek:

It'll be back to 512kps... Its okay for browsing but I'll miss being able to download films in less than a minute...
 
Apparently I have ADSL, but it is from a really, really crappy company (Telus, in case you have heard about it), so it is irregular, slow, etc. I am still mentally kicking myself for not pushing harder for Shaw.

It feels like a Dial up sometimes heck, most of the time.
 
i remember when i used to have dial up, now i have cable. If i had to go back I would die :suicide: hah someone replied what's an internet connection :lol:

Telus is horrible on the island, but Shaw isn't much better. At least it's a little cheaper though.

At its best the transfer rate is 10mps because its transferring just on the network but usually I get around 2mps at the moment but its still very quick :)
 
Dial up unfortuantly. Not by choice, nothing else is available.

Damn the norm DL speed I get is 4-6K a sec. :(
