The 2 things particuarky exiciting me are the 'rebels with a cause' meaning rebel factions actualy have aims and so forth, and the missions meaning countries will act more historically.

Ah, so it's sooner than I thought. Somehow I had it stuck in my mind that it'd come out in August or so as had Napoleon's Ambition.

I think the new options would make it more satisfying to roleplay a country, also, rather than just killing anything that moves (which is always fun in its own right).
