What Video Card do you use?

I'd like to know what everybody is using as their Video Card. Also let us know if u have had any trouble playing Civ3 or other games.

I'm looking to build myself a computer for CIV3 and want to know what troublefree card to go for.

3dFx Voodoo 4500 PCI has not given me any problems in Civ 3.

I suggest not going for a voodoo chipset...

as you'll probably use hte computer for something else later, and voodoo chipsets are no longer (by most developers) being supported.

If you play any 3D type stuff (black&white, quake, halflife) anything that required heavy 3D things, I'd go for one of the new Radeon chipsets. the 9500, or the 9700 are both the top of hte line cards now. Both have whooped the nVidia GeForce4 chipsets.

But then another thing, is if you wait for the GeForce FX cards... those are really good too.

I personally have a Geforce 4 Ti4600. Now, the 4200 is just as good of a card (the new 4200 is better than the 4600) and costs a lot less, if you want to go the GeForce chipset way.

But over-all, I'd suggest getting a Radeon 9500.
