Settler from None
Citizens, we have only $11, and face many frightening choices. We are constrained by our imagined fears, and they seem overwhelming. Our Lame Duck government is guiding us on a course that will last beyond this millenium. Please study the numerous posts in the turn thread 1950 BC, Science, Exploration, anything since 21 Sept.
Let's carry on the big discussion about which wonder, where, here in this thread. We need everyone to post, and everyone to vote. Civ1 will play Wednesday to give us an extra day to decide on this plethora of interdependent issues.
I have solicited private communication with our leader, Civ1-addict, and learned that he would be honored to plan his name for the 2Whales city, which is coming soon now.
A comment on one item of the poll. Suppose we agree to build the Hanging Gardens of Regia Civitas. And suppose Civ1 gets the opportunity to research Pottery. Then we want a Warrior to stand guard, put Elvis to work somewhere, and complete the HG in fewer than 16 turns. That's what that choice means.
