Citizens, we have only $11, and face many frightening choices. We are constrained by our imagined fears, and they seem overwhelming. Our Lame Duck government is guiding us on a course that will last beyond this millenium. Please study the numerous posts in the turn thread 1950 BC, Science, Exploration, anything since 21 Sept.

Let's carry on the big discussion about which wonder, where, here in this thread. We need everyone to post, and everyone to vote. Civ1 will play Wednesday to give us an extra day to decide on this plethora of interdependent issues.

I have solicited private communication with our leader, Civ1-addict, and learned that he would be honored to plan his name for the 2Whales city, which is coming soon now.

A comment on one item of the poll. Suppose we agree to build the Hanging Gardens of Regia Civitas. And suppose Civ1 gets the opportunity to research Pottery. Then we want a Warrior to stand guard, put Elvis to work somewhere, and complete the HG in fewer than 16 turns. That's what that choice means.

What a work! I voted thusly:

Top Priority: build Colossus of Elysium
Generally, I think we'll need to split them (HG, Col)
*no opinion on move of capitol (need to have more input on ups and downs)
*settlers always good (voted for RBuying both)
If HG at RC, and if Pottery, then Filler Warrior in 3 turns begins march to RC (sounds good)
Build Marco Polo as 3rd Wonder
Future 2Whales City to be named Civvium
*no opinion on number of moves to be played
Science Advisor, please post a fresh poll (as a reminder)
Nemo, you really should run again for Domestic Advisor (nominated you already)
I like these Multiple Choice Polls. The chaos is worth the fun.

I am not quite up to date. If I had taken the time to read through all the applicable threads, I would still be about-to-vote tomorrow. Some of my choices might be a bit uneducated, for example the settler one...

Basically I would like to split the two wonders. If RC gets to a turn before it completes its wonder and we have still not got any warnings of AI building wonders then I would support RC becoming the SCC. Especially as caravans could be used.
