What would YOU do with the scepter of Thunderfall?

Why is it that when I make a thread, everyone hates it. When anyone else does, no matter how trivial and silly the thread is, the thread swells up with replies?

I, for one, think it's a good thread. We all can't be as inventive as the master threadstarter, Mojotronica. Hang in there, buddy.

Things I would do if I were Thunderfall:

1) I would plan and announce the first annual CivFanatics Convention to be held in NYC.

2) Echoing the sentiments of several others, I would bring back the search function. I think it has been disabled to reduce the number of server overloads. I imagine that when Telefragged completes its upgrade of the server, the search function will be reactivated. Just a hunch.

3) I would pat myself on the back for having started, and continuing to fund, the best website in the world!

Delete the Wrong Answer threads, and all the other spam threads (what's your favourite ice cream, fuel etc etc).

Because, and i'm assuming this hasn't escaped your attention, there are a few here that are maturity-challenged and love nothing better than gathering up all there imagination and wit, and writing something like "this thread is spam', or the ever delightful 'I'd delete this thread' or the alike.

Ever noticed how it's the same people who tend to spam up other peoples thread?

If i had TF's powers i'd keep things pretty much the same, but i'd mabey promote more game-like threads, and maybe watch those that wreck other peoples threads (like this one, which i reckon is pretty good)...

I'm with you puglover, definately put in a politics sub-forum...
