This needs more posts! Please post in it I need to know whats knew... like yesterday I just found out about Bazooka bubble gum! Help me, I need tons of help with this!
Okay this thread is for game reviews, Movie reviews, new games and movies, ect., ect.
Okay I got San Andreas during the summer of 06' ( good game! ) but recently I got the Godfather (about as good! )... Which is better?
Well:
San Andreas: Can go about anywhere, Can get in airplane, get girlfriends, and eat, Get all guns from Amunation
Godfather: Throw people out of windows , and VERY good graphics, old style but good like that, take businesses, and rackets (secret betting places and stuff like that), and destroy Business, Magnum strongest gun, black market, more realistic
Disavantages?:
San Andreas: Might have error like other GTA games ( i also have Vice City, which now have errors ), Too easy... I think, once your Girlfriend dies she dies for good, takes to long to get all clothes from shop (CJ always have to look at each piece of clothing), people die too easily, CJ carries waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much ammo (1-9999+!)
Godfather: not all maps used, easy to die in beginning, Going down road and see roadblock (probably a warehouse) but by accident but people still shoot at me!, Fast cars not in beggining area (Little Italy), some people have magnums , black market dont sell all things at once, doctors act like street doctors (Doctor: I didn't really study medical school, but I can fix you up!, WTH?!)

I just discovered GTA San Andreas a few months ago. I never gave it any thought before because I always thought the GTA series were 'stupid shoot-up' games. I don't like games where you are limited in where you go because the game just gets repetitive and doesn't have much replay value. I was surprised at all the extra mini-games and side quests in that game!

Definitely worth the $10 I spent at Wal-mart!

Yeah, having to try on each piece of clothing before you can buy them is time consuming. Once I get 4 or more wanted stars it is so hard to survive. I don't like that some things you do will cause the cops to know exactly where you are. I wanted to be able to hide and pick people off if the cops aren't around/didn't see me. Well, you can kind of do that, but as soon as you hit a gas tank and blow up a car, they know exactly where the shot was fired from. Some of the side missions like spraypainting all the gang tags and finding all the oysters take too darn long. I like that there is over 100 different vehicles in the game from mountain bikes, motorcycles, cars, trucks, semis, boats, ships, helicopters, planes, jets, heck even a golf cart! .

So many different side quests that can be done at almost anytime like firefighting, ambulance driver, taxi driver, pimping, racing, shooting pool, arcade games, burglaries, dancing, bike stunts, courier, swimming and gym excercises, basketball, etc.
And when you complete the side quests they give you some advantage in the game like extra weapons (or unlimited), extra max health, money, respect, cars, etc.
Some of the quests are seemingly impossible to beat until you get used to the controls. I can never finish the races inside the stadium without cheating because I always blow up my car first. I cheat by using slow motion and making the cars 'float' when they hit high speeds. The computer can't figure this out so they are speeding and crashing into the sides because they have no traction since they are floating .
Before I found cheat codes to max out my weapon stats I would hide under the aqueduct by CJs (by the armor) and killed the cops as they fell off the bridge trying to get me. Funny when a whole SWAT truck would drive off the bridge.

1)- You got your San Andreas at Wal-mart for $10?! Where you live... I live in Amarillo and San Andreas is still $20
2)- .... those side jobs were always in GTA...
3)- Yeah I know the cops can find you anywhere if you do something bad... but think real life and do hit-and-runs and the cop problem gets better....oo yeah and if you think the Police finding ya anywhere is bad... look at Vice City (have it) and the cops can even find me if I kill someone with a knife at a dark alley...
4)- I like the mini-games... but in Vice City its just look no play....
5) What city was the bridge where you got the cops off?
6)- Many reasons contributed to the Popularity of GTA
7)- San Andreas is the ONLY GTA where you can swim... in LCS you cant swim...WTH?!
8)- Ever been to that Area 69 or 53 or whatever... and steal tanks? or Air stuff (destroy SAMs first to fly away...)
9) Notice the tanks are alot weaker??
10) I know SA has alot of side jobs but I dont know how to robbery... can you tell me???

San Andreas sounds like fun, I like how you do not have to be a criminal (or that criminaly).

5) What city was the bridge where you got the cops off?

Just the aqueduct behind CJs house in Ganton. Before you start, blow up a car or something so that you have two stars so the cops start heading towards you. Then go under the aqueduct and a few will fall down so you kill them and get up to three stars. Then a whole bunch of cops will come, but will stay on top of the bridge if you are directly under the bridge. So step out from under the bridge and the cops will fall down as they jump from the bridge trying to get you (they get half-injured or killed from the fall), so you pick off the injured ones. Then run back under the bridge when the helicopters show up, so that the helicopters leave. There is an armor right there which will re-appear every 6 or 8 hours of game time so you can heal whatever damage you got. Then when you get bored you do a hard sprint back to your house and you should make it there fine to clear all the stars. Doing this seems to max out at 4 stars, though, but it helps for building weapon stats to 'hitman'.

You have to find one of those box-trucks that you used in the robbery mission when you stole those crates from that military dude (probably about the 5th? mission in the story line). There is one in between the blue apartment buildings near the gym in Ganton (might only show up after you've completed a few missions in the story line). Oh, and it must be after midnight to get the mission started.

Have you hit 100% completion yet? If not, you can go to gamefaqs.com and get a guide that will tell you all the quests so you can get 100%. (great maps there too for finding all the oysters, tags, horseshoes, etc.).

Okay now I know how to do Robberies thanks! .... okay, and another way to get cops fall off roads and things and into water (where they cant swim! ) okay this happened one time while I had a gang war... get the helicopter by the beach while a gang war, fly over water and jump out and parachute and sometimes people actually go into water!!!... or make cops follow you and then fall off a bridge!... who really wants to see strategy guides??? thats the people's "crutches" Id rather find em myself... (but I still use cheat codes ) No offense if I offended you...
The Godfather is good too because its more realistic!, Better Graphics, Throw people outta windows and into Furnaces ...
Anyone else know any more new/good games???

The aqueduct or drainage ditch between CJ's and the racing stadium. That road behind CJ's and Ryder's leads straight to the stadium and goes over the aqueduct.

The water is another bad thing about San Andreas. The cops (and other people) die the minute they hit the water?! What is it, acid water?

Once you've stolen a total of over $10,000 there is some sort of bonus you'll get. The game keeps track of tons of stats, but they don't tell you that you have to do something so many times, like collecting 50 taxi fares in order to get nitros in all taxi cabs.

OOO yeah 1 more thing whoever got Vice City tell me how to do the missions past Keep your friends close... I heard rumors but im not sure... Can someone tell me if these rumors are true??? Maybe you might want to check the strategy guide now?

Yeah, strategy guides or walk-throughs can take some of the excitement out of a game, but once you think you have discovered everything, then I'd take a look at a guide to see if there was something in the game you didn't know about. I wouldn't go spending money on those Prima guides at the stores, just look at the free ones on the internet. There is talk about some hidden areas (hidden interiors) but I haven't figured out if that is just for the playstation version of the game or it is also available in the PC version. The playstation version matches the PC version in almost everything else.

I'm one of those guys that have to know everything about a game (100% complete). I haven't played this game enough to get to that point yet.

San Andreas is about the only game I've played besides slower paced RPG games. I usually wait until games are $10-20 instead of buying brand new games at $40+, so I don't really have any input to give you on other new games out there.

...Well Actually... This was in t he off-topic section.... until when I gave my Review about the Godfather and San Andreas Someone took it the wrong way and sent it here.... but anyways... back to topic...
I heard a rumor that they had a price cut for PS3.... in Japan 4,000 yen... In USA bout $400... I heard PS3 has a blueray scanner to it... so It doesnt scratch CDs while playing it for long periods of time... and I seen picutures of it too I would post it but... do I have Permission Moderators?
