Whats the best way to win this game?

In general or in this game? In general histo graph is the easiet as all you have to do is have the best score. In this game, you can win anyway, except probably UN. Well that is if all conditions are allowed.

I would go for domination or conquest as that is what I like to do, kill everyone. Just make a lot of galleons and upgrade once you get transports and destroyers.

Send the transports and say 3 DD's loaded to the other contient and take it down. Should be very easy as you will have at least 6 armies. 4 cavs and maybe 1 or 2 infantry.

You get there before they get bombers and it is lights out. Found a town and let them kill off many units attacking the town. Then roll out to take their towns as you please.

I waited until I had RP, so I could have Inf and Arties. IOW soon after I finished of the Greeks. The Ottoman are down to 6 cities right now and Istanbul is next to go.

They cannot couterattack any longer as they have few units left. Transports coming in next and then it is off to see the Incans I have lots of galleons standing by to upgrade. I just need 3 or 4 DD's to escort them as I build zero frigates.

I have an inf army and 5 cav armies now and the next army coming out will also be an inf. I want to let the AI pound on the beachhead until they are exhausted.

It makes taking down towns easier. I will be sending over bombers and tanks soon.

I can't recall when I started it, but you should be fine. How come you did not build the ToE in the capitol? That is why I put up a coal plant so it could build it fast.

It can still build it faster that T-0005. I would swith to an army and switch the cap to ToE.

I do not like to build units that will take more than 10 turns. I would switch those real long builds to something else, like a settler to replace those razed towns.

I also do not like to see arties out where they could be grabbed.

BTW I had to waste an SGL as I had nothing useful for it to do and I was still leader fishing. I rushed a market.

I have a 3rd one that I decided to hold for Seti as I have an empty army now, with 8 in the field and tanks coming. I was able to research tanks in 4 turns. Ottoman are gone and I am about to land on the Incans.

Here is that position. The cities were setup a couple of turns back, so there may have been some growth, where another specialist coul dbe used, but I am to lazy to go throught them every turn.

Going to land next to Aarhus. Land one army on the mountain and the worker. The worker will make an airfield, so I can fly over units (tanks/inf).

Why didn't you use the SGL to make an Age of Science?
Those don't work. It looks like they work, but then your "turns remaining" until your research finishes stalls at one turn left until you get to the turn when it would have finished if you didn't have the SGA.

Good to hear. Yes the science thing never worked and I knew that, so I just burned the SGL on a market. I actually have gotten 3 of them, they should be turned off as it is too strong at low levels for the human.

It is ok at Deity or Sid as you will likely not get any. I am not even going to research the UN. I should have a domination by 1842. I already took 4 capitols from the Inca and 2 from China

I did not realize it, but the game ended on the next turn 1828 by domination. Here it is just hit the end turn.

The whole purpose of this was to see if you could get some value out of seeing some of the tactics and choices. A little bit of city/empire management. I only micromanaged the towns a few times. Lots of lost production by being that lazy, but you can see the effects of getting those town up to cities and using scientist.

Also CE's to hurry getting temple/aqua up and sometimes markets. Rushing some of the temples in captured lands.

At no time could the weak civs put up a defense or an offense and you are free to take what you want.

An even more aggressive tac could have been taking to bring the game to an earlier ending, but that is never my goal and I did want to keep the game on the style that you mite be willing to use.

I've only ever tried the Scientific Golden Age once and I wondered why it didn't seem to make any difference. Now I know. Thanks.
