What's the story on the additional splash screen?

Lately on EACH launch, just after the normal splash screen, there is a new privacy decline/accept screen. Any ideas on why 2k does not save your response, like other vendors and make you answer each launch? Are they having money or legal issues?

I haven't gotten this recently. Do you click agree or disagree? I image you'll keep getting it until you click agree if you click disagree.

They probably changed something on it and therefore you need to accept again

It only appeared recently for me this splash screen too

It popped up for me last night, too. It didn't pop up again when I started the game just now to check.

I first noticed it after the Rulers of China update. I took a screenshot of it at the time, but don't remember why now. Once I accepted though, it's never shown again.

*Edit - I just looked back and it was right after the Hotfix update, which changed the Chinese text/audio.

They probably have money issues. Everybody must preorder Civ 7.

It's quite a while that I have that in the free EGS vanilla game. No matter how many times I will click on "refuse all", it will reappear constantly each launch.
