What's up with my editor?

This is a weird problem, and one that I've never encountered or heard of before... my C3C Editor seems to have no connection to the actual game. For instance, when I create/edit a new map, it won't show up in the Civ-Content menu. The same thing happens when I download a mod (MEM, for example). Any hints/ideas how to fix this?

You are putting the map files into the Scenarios folder, right?
