Wouldn't that cost more than a netcam?

I have the same issue, both my girlfriend and I have broken cameras...

Also on another note I am thinking about starting 40K but am on a four way split between Tau, Imperial Guard, Black Templars and Orks.

Also what is the actual function of Space Marine shoulder pads? Are shoulders really that important? I mean you see them without a helmet, does that mean shoulders are more important in their biology than heads?!?! those big clunky shoulder pads must surely get in the way when aiming sideways? anyone know what the point of them it?

go tau, their big shouler pads actually serve a purpose, and their rules are easy to understand, among other reasons
 
I thought about it a lot afterwards and my brother is thinking of getting Tau, and Imperial Guard have too many troops so would have a lot of time. So stuck between Orks and Black Templars I found out that Orcs are in the Box Set (I could have sworn it was tyranids) so bought that.

I then spent several hours scrapping the arrows on the right shoulder pad off with a hobby knife and am currently asking all my friends if they kept their unused transfers so I can get some free Black Templar ones...
 
Ork's have horde armies too, like IG. Templars are simple to paint, and are still generically marines.

They updated the box-set to a new scenario, getting rid of Tyrannids for the Orks, as you've discovered :D

If all else fails, paint on the symbol. With a steady hand and some Skull White, it'll be no bother :)
 
I mainly like orks for the vehicles, which might limit the troops numbers a bit... maybe...

Anyway just finished assembling the last model now. So I just need to find an opponent...

Thanks for the hint about the symbol btw, I might do that if all else fails. Although I did find some templates for sale online, 10p for the templates and 2.50 postage, which I am not going to buy on the principle that the postage shouldn't be 25x the cost of the item.

Yeah, I've seen the FAQ, and I think it's quite silly that you have to rank up 4 because of RAW, but you can't use HoC, which would have been RAW...

(RAW = Rules as written, as opposed to RAI, Rules as Intended)
 
If I played a beasts player I would let them rank up 5 wide, and let them use the better cheaper Shaggoth from the WoC book...

...I am a fairly lax player really, I never understood the ultra-competitive side of it tbh.
