I used to go with the default skin for the longest while, but then become quite amused with ancient. As the people have said - fanatics!

My favourite at the moment is Black CFC.

Turnip green. Perhaps due to my colour deficiency, I love the colour green, and it's by far the best-looking skin.

Black is best for the menus, but Dark Blue is the best for viewing the topics. If I could have that as a possibility I would. I currently switch on and off between Modern and Dark Blue since they're easy on the eye. I tried Mac OS X and discovered it was not. Black isn't either, but it does look the best.
