Whats your favorite position in Soccer/English Football?

Mine would be center midfielder/defender because thats what I'm best at. The ball's coming down the field, you & the keeper are the only ones between the goal and the ball. You steal the ball, lift it, bounce it, and slam it down the field... my favorite scenario!

When I used to play, it was mostly centre of mid-field. I was not good enough to score goals but was always fit enough to do a lot of running about tackling hard etc.

Left/right defender or defensive midfielder. Rather like Tsunami, but I couldn't even pass the ball properly, so I was placed as full back where I couldn't do much harm Ah, those were the days...

playing in a club in my childhood, I was always defender IIRC, guess it is because I was quite small then and grew only later

Mine's central midfielder too, but being the last man in front of the keeper is not what I have in mind when I play that position...

I was never very athletic when we had to do Football in school, so the really good players used to tell the non-energitic people to sit in defense and they would play up front.

I broke the mould, I refused to play defense and sat in Central Midfield, and while I did, I played half-good football, set up a few goals too.
