Poll coming. :)

I like SimCity 2000. Probably 'cos it's the first one I played. And it doesn't have a whole lot of micromanagement.

The "other" option is in case I missed one or if you haven't played them all or if you like more than one, but not all of them, or anything else that doesn't fit.

Sim City 4, but Sim City 2000 will always have a place thanks to nostalgia and the amount of time I played it.

I liked 4. I might have to break that out once my new machine arrives. (My current computer runs extremely sluggish once you start building up your city, believe it or not.)

SC4. I love that game, but I installed some lot that keeps making my game crash. Now I have to go through and figure out which of the hundred or so is causing the problem.

I liked Sim City 4. And when Rush Hour came, I thought or hoped that U-Drive-It would be like Streets of Sim City or SimCopter but better. But it was just rubbish.
However, when I compare Sim City 4 to Sim City 2000, I have to pick SC2000. The graphics are better (just my opinion) and the gameplay feels just right. Just a matter of feeling and time spent on/with it. I still have to try 3000. I have it, but not the time to play it. I didn't like Classic that much, because of mandatory 3x3 blocks you had to use.

But I like like Caesar III and Pharaoh&Cleopatra better...

I like to crash everything. :mischief:

I've never been able to keep a SimCity 4 city going. Either I run out of money or get fed up and let off disasters.

SimCity 4 without a doubt. The base game is good but with all sorts of addon's, you could really make yourself a fantastically detailed city.

I voted for SimCity 2000.

Why is it called SimCity 2000 instead of just SimCity 2?

And Will Wright is a genius.

Simcity 4. Althoug 3000 and 2000 are good aswell.

Interestingly enough, there's not much development on Societies anymore, and the Simcity 4 engine seems to be a dead end but the Simcity 3000 is in use everywhere (DS, iPhone etc.)

Will they ever make another Sim City? Seems like a no brainer to me. What are they waiting for?

The only reason I got Societies is because it was only $8. (Bargain bins ROCK!!!!)

I wasn't expecting anyone to pick Societies, but it did surprise me nobody voted for SimCity Classic.

Societies is dead to me!

Probably, but Societies isn't even 2 years old yet.

My bad.

I thought I asked if they would ever make another Sim City game. ;)

I liked Sim City 2000 best. It was one of my first computer games.
