Although we have no laws set up for this, I may have to make a "Moderator Decree" that nominations will start on Monday December 22nd, with debates starting on Friday December 26th.
I believe that this is our best bet, considering that we are in the middle of the holiday season. Any objections?
Are we going to implement the one-day break between election close and the start of the new term in this election cycle? Also, I think that the nominations should begin on the 23rd at 0:00 GMT if we choose not to use that extra day, but then again that is just Election Office tradition.

Yes, but let's make sure that is ok with everyone first, CG.

What is the difference between the 22nd and the 23rd? Opening elections at 0000GMT Monday would have the Election Office beginning the process at around 6pm on Sunday.
Also, I was planning on having elections run until the 31st as we always have, but please feel free to join the discussion on Election Standards. I am not totally decided on this issue, so please try to convince me.
