When is the Great Library not a Library?

I believe the reason Neuschwanstein does not provide a free Castle is that it's not really a castle that could be used for defense, it's more of a fairy-tale idea of a castle. Look at it, that can't really hold off a besieging army, can it? :lol:
as I've visited Neuschwanstein, it could have hold it's own as a castle against a medieval army. But at the end of 19th century, as this madness of Ludwig II was build, the defensive role of castles was lost. As a proof of that, the castle remained undamaged at the end of WWII.
