Where are the dang autosaves

I saw a post earlier but I need it now.

I got like 50 more min of game time and I was on a roll. Freaking dang wonder movie crashed the system and I am above and beyond the RECOMENDED SPECS even.. That torks me,

BUT WHERE ARE THE AUTO SAVES>??????

when you go to load a game, on the left there will be a break down menu. select the plus sign next to "single" and there should be an "auto" sub file. Click that and they will be in there assuming you have that option turned on.

It is not there. I had to go into the actually directories... it was able to load directly from that so that is kewl... But there is no "auto" sub file listed under single... I do not know why. No one else has noticed this I take it?

I found mine in Documents & Settings\My Documents\YOURNAME\Civ4\....Saves\

Something like that.

You actually have to click the little plus ("+") not just the folder. If you click on the "Single" folder, nothing but the game files themselves show up to the right. Stumped me for a second, but at least once you've gone there once, it remembers the location upon subsequent game loads.
