Where are the Program Files?

Curiosity question, and a fundamental one, but I can't find the Civ 5 program files. And neither can the Windows 7 search feature. It can't find anything except the files in My Games, even with hidden files revealed. There are some suggestions for temporarily handling some of the many bug issues, but it's no go w/o getting to the program files. Is this some sort of steam restriction? Sorry if Im missing something obvious.

The Civ5 files are all saved in the steam folder, which is normally installed under C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps, and there somewhere in the subfolders.

Thank you. Yes, they are buried, but there as you described. Strange that the Windows 7 find function could not locate any of these!
