You know the ones I mean? The ones that pop up all too briefly when the game is loading, showing that a scout can become a ranger, and then how to get to assassin and how to get from there onewards.

There seemed to be one for each broad unit category.

They look lovely, but I can't find them anywhere, not here or on the ffh main site. Can we have a link to them in the FAQ, they're a very useful addition for a newbie :-)

Thanks!

I think they're in the art file (pak0.fpk). To get at them, you need to unpack the archive (search for pakbuild on these forums). You may also need a DDS viewer/converter if they are in that format. If you go through the last couple of pages of the wiki thread in this forum, you should hopefully be able to find a link to it.

they're also a bit old, i think some of the paths may be outdated...

FYI, these upgrade trees are outdated. In particular, I think there might be some units on the trees that don't exist, some upgrade paths are not shown, and not every unit appears on the tree.

I would recommend looking up the Warrior, Scout, Prophet, and Adept in the Civopedia or the FFH2 wiki. In Civopedia in each unit entry you can click on the unit's possible upgrades and go back using the Back button. The wiki can be navigated similarly.

Every time I start a game, I wonder why these images haven't been upgraded, and I think someone suggested an upgrade for Fire would be a good idea. Of course, most new players feel like they don't stay on the screen long enough to be useful anyway, so perhaps that should be changed as well.
