Where can I find the 1.22 Conquest Patch?

My Conquest is working once again! :woohoo:

And I need the 1.22 patch. COuld anyway bring up a link or something? Thanks. :)
 
Just be sure you don't have Civ3 Complete Edition. It includes vanilla and PTW as well as Conquests, and they're already fully patched.

Where do I save the patch in? And do I extract it? I just want to make sure so it doesn't screw up again. And do I have to dload both mirrors? Or just one?

Just save the .exe file to your desktop, then double click it and run. It's pretty simple, just keep hitting "Next". C3C 1.22 is a universal language one too, so it's pretty hard to screw up.
 
WTH NOOOOOOO!!!!

It doesn't work! Conquests is screwed just like it always was! It says it cannot find the disc! When the disc is in there? :cry:

God forbid I've reinstalled it about 20 times! Plus, it's AFTER I install the crappy patch is when the piec of sh*t error comes up saying the wrong disc is inserted.
 
Okay now i've got an even BIGGER problem. I was trying to simply enter conquest safter I uninstalled the stupid patch, and when the screen comes up that says play or exit and stuff, and I can press all the other buttons except play. So this stupid patch has screwed up my cpnquests ONCE AGAIN. And I'm not blaming anyone. I'm just mad at Atari right now. :mad:

Ok, I've gotta ask. Did you buy Civ3 (vanilla) and then C3C (Conquests) separately? If you did, they usually come from Infogrames, not Fireaxis, and do need patching.

If you bought Civ Complete (Fireaxis), you get vanilla, PTW and C3C in one package with 3 disks to install, and they are ALL fully patched. Patching over the top of them will cause you problems. In addition, after completing the install with the 3rd disk, the game is looking for disk #1 to play.

I originally bought them separately, but one of the disks became corrupted, so then I bought Complete. The installs and upgrading (or not) are completely different, but the game still plays the same.
 
It works for the rest of us so it's not really Atari's fault because there are thousands of hardware configurations out there. Yours just happens to be one that doesn't work. Stop taking your anger out on Atari and this piece of ... by actually trying to solve it. Have you search the tech support forums? Contacted Atari? Visited their website?
 
I might just buy complete. I bought vannilla with PTW (Seperate discs) Then later I got Conquests.

I'm not sure what you mean, so I'll put it this way. the Conquests expansion has PTW built in. Thats what i was trying to to say, and im pretty sure (now at least) that you were trying to say that as well.
 
If you have complete, you don't need to patch. In fact, patching will cause the dreaded "Please insert the Civ3:Conquests disc."
